Billionaire Bill Ackman, founder of Pershing Square, said that a top candidate for his exclusive investment team has spent time in a top-notch investment banking program as well as a private equity company.
In a conversation with Carlyle founder David Rubenstein on an online conference hosted by Bloomberg, Ackman said he typically looks for people four or five years out of school who have spent time in a top-tier investment banking program as well as a private equity firm.
