De La Cruz admits that it took her a long time to learn how to set concrete goals. “When I was first starting my business and trying to grow between 2012 to 2017, I never reached the success that I wanted because I needed to work on two things: my mindset and my goal-setting,” she says. With the roller coaster of entrepreneurship and other lifestyle stresses such as a breakup and broken friendships, it was therapy that helped her pinpoint what was driving her.
