State Tourism, Culture and Digital Technology Committee chairman Ariffin Deraman said the incentive would be distributed to 50 rickshaw pullers and 18 passenger boat drivers with each receiving RM400. “As we know, most sectors, especially the tourism sector, has faced huge losses due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to him, the incentive will be credited to each recipient’s bank account as early as next week.
