Jeff Skoll is buying into Monumental Sports & Entertainment, which is the parent company of the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals.

Skill is worth approximately $5.6 billion and was an architect of eBay's early business and eventual IPO.Ted Leonsis, the majority owner of Monumental, is exploring a bid for the Washington Nationals.
