In bigger news, MakerDAO faces a $500M problem by holding $500M GUSD in their PSM Module. Gemini is being charged by the SEC, which is very bad news for them. If Gemini goes down, MakerDAO could face a 10% short fall in their $5B DAI reserve.
Definitively, this is a huge step for MakerDAO as it looks to continue its investment into both short-term U.S. Treasury bonds and investment-grade corporate bonds. I think this shows the increasing confidence in MakerDAO and the stability of the stablecoin market.
It is a refinancing of the mortgage debt, the loan is overcollateralized with real estate loans rated AAA+
