A popular diner is closing its doors after 55 years. The family business has been an Ottawa staple for several generations.Aboud took over her family business in the 1980s, but has been working there since it opened.
The restaurant offers breakfast and lunch with some Lebanese dishes on the menu. The location on Brookfield Road started as a confectionary shop and still has a storefront.
Definitely have to visit for a final meal. I went there all the time when I worked nearby til covid forced us govt folks home. I visited both days I went in a few months back. I'll miss it.
