Billionaire investor Bill Ackman said that while he likes both Twitter and Elon Musk, Pershing Square's SPAC-like structure had not yet had a formal conversation with the Tesla founder about a deal.
Musk borrowed some $13 billion to help close his acquisition of Twitter, but the asset is likely worth far less than the $44 billion he paid for it. "I have a lot of respect for Musk, I think Twitter is a really important platform, I think he's made tremendous improvements to the platform, and I think it's a very-difficult-to-disrupt kind of asset," Ackman told CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin in an interview.
