The hashtag 'glasses are forbidden' has been trending in Japan. Companies have imposed clothing regulations which women are protesting. The outcry comes after protests this year against compulsory high heels at work.

In a completely unrelated matter, they also banned 'frumpy' clothing, the lack of makeup and skirts worn below the knee. They are considering requiring boob implants of no less than 400cc as well. We have much to learn from their wise and ancient culture.
