A former Amazon exec who has called for the company to be broken up said the tech industry is the 'leading candidate' for anti-monopoly regulators to target

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has seen his wealth skyrocket during the pandemic even as antitrust criticism of the company grows.Former Amazon vice president Tim Bray has repeatedly called for the company to be broken up since he quit in May over the company's firings of whistleblowers.published Wednesday, Bray broadened his criticism, saying the tech industry in general is a "leading candidate" for antitrust regulators to target.

Bray is part of a growing chorus of critics, including lawmakers, activists, and businesses who sell on Amazon who say the company is wielding its power to unfairly crush competition.
