New Premier Dominic Perrottet has fast-tracked the NSW pandemic road map to kickstart the economy, arguing COVID-19 and subsequent lockdowns have proven a crisis for business as well as the health sector.
Mr Perrottet faced several questions as to whether NSW Health officials had endorsed his plan, which will also allow indoor swimming pools to re-open from Monday and nightclubs to operate from December without dancing. Up to 10 visitors will be able to enter a home, and weddings and funerals of 100 people will be able to be held from Monday.
Five of the people who died were not vaccinated, one person had received one dose, and two people with underlying health conditions had received two doses, NSW Health said in a statement.

The changes in roadmap shows that the new premier has emphasis on economy rather than human lives. He will regret it later with his impatience. He's worse than Gladys who has known her mistakes. NSW will pay the price again for Liberal's arrogance and neglect.

It will be an even bigger economic crisis if his changes to the roadmap go pear shaped. To dismiss Dr Chant’s advice shows an arrogance and a rush to make his mark by an inexperienced leader. Silly move, as now it’s all on him. We know who to blame.
