According to the books of 2 Samuel, 1 King and Ezekiel, Zadok was a loyal priest to the biblical King David.
Philippians 4:19 reads: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Outside his evangelical work, he is mainly known as the founder of one of Nigeria’s most expensive universities, Covenant University. He also owns Landmark University, in Omu-Aran, Kwara State.
Mr Oyedepo is also the owner of Hebron Oil Limited and a slew of other businesses mostly located in his Canaanland estate in Ota, Ogun State.

Question: why would a pastor that does not pay tax for owning a church need to evade tax?
He should be applauded for separating his personal wealth from that of the Church he founded. As long as he did not steal anyone's money & acted within the law's of the jurisdiction where he has his company or Trust; it's not illegal and it's not your business.

There's a difference between tax avoidance and tax evasion. Tax avoidance is legal and also not punishable by law. Pastor Oyedepo does not hold a government office which would have brought asset declaration into the conversation, he's a private citizen.

We need much more investigative work on pastors globally, and especially here in Nigeria. This kind of wealth can’t solely be from tithes/offerings/etc. They are probably being used for money laundering, which could explain why politicians lack the will to regulate them!
