Prince’s Trust International has entered into partnered with Junior Achievement Nigeria (JAN) to empower young people with entrepreneurship skills and business management knowledge even as it launches the first-ever Enterprise Challenge Programme in Nigeria.

The Enterprise Challenge, which was implemented in Lagos and also in Oyo states, has benefitted over 120 students, providing them with the opportunity to increase their knowledge of corporate ethical strategies and business concepts, according to the firm.

“We are grateful for this partnership with Prince’s Trust International which has helped us reach even more young people and set them on a journey to wealth creation, and position them to become conscientious business leaders with the support of over 24 mentors. Commenting on the partnership, the Deputy Director, Global Delivery, Rosanna Wakefield, said empowering young people to learn, earn and thrive was germane to aid growth and productivity and enable young people to deliver tangible employment outcomes.

“This partnership will ensure that young people develop the necessary entrepreneurship skills to succeed in business, helping them to learn, earn and thrive. After a successful pilot we look forward to continuing to work with Junior Achievement Nigeria to support more young people in the country by blending our expertise with a global network of local partners, to develop programmes and interventions to help young people to build their own futures.
