“This new home will be a place where Realtors and our business partners gather to learn, to share and discuss new ideas, to network, to become better leaders, and mostly, to give their time for the betterment of the real estate industry,” Kane said. Cathy Mitchell, a MetroTex Building Task Force member and past president who inherited the project after Callicutt, said she’s thrilled with the finished product.

“We will see a different market,” she said. “It will soften up. These multiple offers that have been going on for the last two years, we're going to see that change. But that's OK. It's still going to be a good market. Dallas is strong and we've got great infrastructure.”
