US stocks pointed to a firmly higher open on Friday, as Wall Street waited for a fresh read on the Federal Reserve's preferred inflation gauge.

The Waterloo, Ont.-based tech company, which reports its earnings in U.S. dollars, says the loss works out to seven cents per diluted share.
