Yesterday afternoon, Selena Gomez attended the TIME100 Summit at the Lincoln Center, along with a couple of her fellow 100-most influential honourees. While other celebrity attendees – including Elliot Page and Shailene Woodley – opted for more office-friendly button-downs, Gomez chose to make a leather dress a part of her power dressing. Gomez – who also made the TIME100 list in 2020 – wore a fitted maxi dress by Brandon Maxwell for the occasion.
While walking into the building, she shrouded herself in an oversized black leather trench coat from Ducie and a pair of Linda Farrow cat-eye sunglasses. Though many of us probably reach for a button-down and a pair of slacks in the morning, Gomez is issuing a friendly reminder that business attire can accomodate a host of different options.
