Being reactive to market conditions and introducing countermeasures helped this downtown one-bedroom unit become the first sale in its building all year

In a two-tower complex a few blocks east of the St. Lawrence Market, this one-bedroom unit was listed for $935,000 for all of February and relisted for $919,900 for the next two months. Some buyers griped about its lack of outdoor space or a second bedroom, but all the seller could do as countermeasures were to improve its furnishing and promotional materials, and drop the price to $899,900.

Classic appointments include tile flooring in the kitchen and two bathrooms, and hardwood flooring in areas like the living and dining area.
