Zimbabwe receives uninterrupted Eskom power supply via SABCNewsOnline

Zimbabwe says it is still receiving an uninterrupted power supply from Eskom despite increased load shedding in South Africa.

Cash-strapped Zimbabwe is forced to rely on power imports because of low generation capacity from the Kariba hydro-electric power station where water levels are low. Zimbabwe’s Energy Minister Fortune Chasi says: “Should there be challenges, I have no doubt that South Africa will communicate that – to say that they are unable…”“We are continuing to receive power in accordance with the undertakings that we made in our contract with them,” adds Chasi.

They are owing us 🙄🙄

zimbambwe first south african people last waw our leaders. ramaposa is too weak and ignorant he must pull him self together.

This is a lie

Why do u get many blacks who always defend the actions of other blacks even when its obvious that theyre wrong?...& the repercussions of this is affecting mainly black ppl. Its not like only the other races are suffering.

South Africa For You.....You feed other people's children and you leave your kids to Starve

Unacceptable!!!!!

I think since Eskom_SA don’t have capacity they must cut all supply to the neighbors and focus on South Africa because we are loosing big time.

Kazi senzeni thina

& they owe eskom heaven and earth in electricity bills

So what? Are they not paying? If they are paying, then yes, allow Eskom to supply where they’re getting uninterrupted payments. We don’t want to bail them out from taxes.

The irony in this matter is that they obtain electricity from South Africa😩

Wonder who get the 'cut' where

SA receives uninterrupted ARV drug supply from Western donors. What are you insinuating here?

Are they even paying well for that electricity or it's all debt, dirt and debt ?

Zim is not paying SAA and still we supply electricity? Cut it! It's a banana Republic it's leaders are thieves... But no ANC still in a revolutionary partnership... Dog!

Why are our media houses lying, they currently living with 3hours of electricity (around mid night) in most parts of the country!

Njani?

Zimbabwe is an important customer to South Africa. If we don't supply them with power they will choose another supplier from another country. So Eskom is right here.

Ha ha ha this country

Which message is being put across here.?
