Juventus' Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, his head covered in foam, acknowledges fans and celebrates after Juventus secured its 8th consecutive Italian 2018/19"Scudetto" Serie A championships, after winning the Italian Serie A football match Juventus vs Fiorentina on Saturday at the Juventus stadium in Turin. Photo: AFPforward, Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer market value has dropped after a new Serie A players’ transfer market value was recently released.

His fellow team mate, Paulo Dybala , who rises from €75m to €85m is now leading on the Italian Serie A standings for transfer market value. The former Manchester United winger is also ranked behind Inter Milan’s forward Lautaro Martínez who got the biggest upgrade of all players that are adjusted this winter. The 22-year-old Argentine rises up from €40 million to €80 million .

“Besides his progressing age – Ronaldo turns 35 in February – a lack of form in the first half of the season comes in addition for the Portuguese. “CR7 hasn’t been at 100% for spells, you could see that. He doesn’t appear to be as dominant, as he used to anymore. At this age, he therefore can’t hold on to his market value.”

Apart from artefacts and wine, only a few other things progress their value with age without a point of diminishing returns. He just bent the curve

It’s not a function of the league, he is not getting any younger you know?

He's in his mid 30s.
