Time to invest in a horse and cart , the way it’s going that will be the only way of getting about, they might as well ban electricity and gas too , go full eco friendly , no cars, no fridges, washing machines, TVs, mobile phones, computers etc , everybody working on the land.

I have got a 15 year old so called suv , petrol , and pay road tax at the highest possible rate , but it actually produces less than 1/4 of what d v l c charge me the exhaust is dead clean, the roads where I live are absolute crap so something heavy duty is absolutely nescesary

What about SUV's that have the automatic cut out when you stop? Most vehicles have this technology now. Certain models are already being priced off the road. My 3ltr Mitsubishi was £600 a year to tax and was going up when I traded it in. Ridiculous.
