Korean Air is letting people change their flights from the US to South Korea after a flight attendant tested positive for coronavirus — but there's a catch

AP/Airbus, C. Brinkmann

Customers traveling from the US to South Korea on Korean Air are now allowed to change their flight schedule free of charge, a representative for Korean Air told Business Insider on Wednesday morning Korea Standard Time. Customers seeking refunds will be able to receive them based on the conditions of their reservation.

A representative for Korean Air declined to confirm the flight attendant's past routes and flights. According to the representative, the Korean Center of Disease Control and Prevention "will officially announce its findings including the time and the place visited by the employee."

How come you can even change anything when they don’t even pick up your call they took the phone out, they are forcing you to have to throw away the ticket so they can have both the money and don’t have to give the service or they force you to go die

Korean Air not offering refunds to South Korea due to coronavirus - Business InsiderKorean Air is not offering refunds on flights to South Korea as customers desperately try to cancel trips because of coronavirus That is Wrong. Boycott Korean airlines. They are playing us dirty especially when a crew member has the coronavirus and they had to shut down their ICN office KoreanAir_KE KoreanAir qatarairways is doing that! They offer changes/refunds free of charge ONLY for those whose final destination is Doha. So I guess they don't care if their employees and the rest of the world are at risk of contagion.
