THE Government has pledged to tear up business red tape to get vital supplies to the NHS frontline.

Business Secretary Alok Sharma unveiled measures to boost the supply of personal protective equipment, such as face masks, to protect staff during the coronavirus crisis. Official rules which made it difficult to produce more hand sanitiser will also be ditched. Mr Sharma said:"New suppliers and businesses that produce ingredients for safe hand sanitiser will be able to bring their products to market in a matter of days.
