Post-pandemic, a slow severing of ties with China.

“That's not the only item on the list, but I think 100 percent expensing would be a very good thing,” Kudlow said about relocating.

On Friday, the U.S. Department of Justice requested that the Federal Communications Commission terminate China Telecom’s authorization to operate in the U.S., calling it a national security risk. “A lot of my Chinese friends in the private sector want a better relationship with the U.S.. They want to compete, they want to do business with us,” says Christian Lundblad, the Richard Levin Distinguished Professor of Finance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill business school. “There is a certain sadness to all this, really.”

Pandemic exposed a giant weakness in global trade. When the chips are down every country becomes protectionist. larry_kudlow

All the fucking trump people want to do is give tax payer money to the damn corporations !

Wait. Didn’t they move to China to boost profits by avoiding taxes and paying slave wages? They can use that money if they want to return.

No.

but but...thats...socialism!

If you do not know by now, Kudlow is an ignorant fool and we should not listen to or follow him.

Sure thing. But the minimum wage in those repatriated companies, at the the taxpayer expense, will now be $22 hour with paid time off. Welcome home apple.

Moving from China to Vietnam or Taiwan?...

The author of this article writes, this would be too much work perhaps, and 'nobody like to do homework over weekend'. I guess, you rather go to funerals over weekend then?

Bring all the manufacturing back to the US, UK, AUS and relocate to parts of Africa. Cut China off. Enough.

It’s a must unless we want China to dominate the world. What did you expect would happen if you gave China a huge chunk of your business ? How long before China will gobble you up and own you ? It’s a suicidal pact. See praying mantis rituals ....

Lol slow down... get that $1200 to people first at least 😂

Many US companies don’t manufacture in China - they buy from Chinese manufacturers based on price and stability of supply ... the irony is that China is probably the only country that’s still open for business and shipping supplies worldwide

All American companies should leave China there's no reason for them to be there if you're an American company stay in America and give jobs to American people not the Communists in China

Or - and hear me out - we could pay to keep American families in their homes during this terrible time. No more redistribution of wealth from American families to corporations. This has to stop!

Screw you! I’m tired of these corporate giveaway!!

The only problem is no company will move manufacturing to the USA; it will go to other low wage countries in the region... Corporate profits protected, nothing for the workers of the USA...

Decouple

Fk that. These multi billion companies can pay their own freight to get back in the US. No tax dollars for this shite

There is NO financial break the GOP is not willing to give corporations.

World war

They should be grants, seeing as how the Fed, and the central banks caused this problem in the first place! FilmyourHospital EmptyHospitals CoronaVirusHOAX This dude will never get the COVID19.. I'm convinced the more liquor in your system, the safer you are. But hey, I'm not a doctor nor a scientist. 🤷‍♀️ 168 billions out of 2.2 trillions and with a recently fired watchdog inspector that was going to supervise the money? Yeap we got screwed again.
