Yet, the ESG category has failed to take off broadly due to assumptions that sustainable values mean lower financial returns.eight in 10 individual investors were interested in sustainable investing, though just over half were actually pursuing them over concerns of a financial trade-off. Among millennials, those figures were even higher, with 95% interested and two-thirds actively investing in sustainable products.
