The problem is significant because many of these inauthentic accounts are retweeted by other larger accounts, which increases their reach and visibility.

I noticed this with some of the replies to our local news KTNV FOX5Vegas CityOfLasVegas These accounts that have Just opened around March-April with a random set of numbers in their user name.
