New York Gov. Cuomo just tapped former Google CEO Eric Schmidt to help invent a more tech-focused future for the state post-pandemic

that former Google CEO and Chairman Eric Schmidt will chair a commission tasked with "reimagining" the state's relationship with technology post-pandemic.

"On a larger scale, how do we really use technology in the economy of tomorrow, and that's the lesson we're all learning," he said.The governor praised Schmidt's leadership and vision at Google, saying Schmidt's experience would help New York develop a more tech-savvy approach moving forward.

Great. Maybe Eric can synchronize it with Beijing so they all are on same page. But what about the other 49 states?
