The Pos Malaysia delivery rider whose picture sparked an uproar on social media.
In a statement, it said despite an increase in parcel volume throughout the movement control order period, its other businesses including mail, international parcels, aviation and logistics had been affected. “While many severely impacted sectors in the country have resorted to salary reductions, job cuts or other drastic measures, Pos Malaysia continues to strive hard in ensuring that these employees’ futures are protected.”
The home owner who shared the picture said when asked, the rider explained that he had just been told the usual RM1,000 Hari Raya bonus would not be given this year despite the heavier workload during the MCO period.
During MCO, online business was booming, and do you know why your business is bad? It the the sorry state of your management that killed your business and your workers are the ones who suffer
Pos Malaysia is not making any profit. But wonder how much Pos Malaysia pay salary to their Chairman, CEO, CFO, CHCO and others top management for their failures.
Dont tell me u cant afford atleast half months salary for these guys. Have some compassion.

I thought post laju would be more busy since a lot of people ordering online. I hope this is not someone else reaping their bonuses and claiming bad business. In fact I heard from a postman things are very busy ATM.
Poslaju has been around for a long long time, it’s losing to new comers in the logistic industry. Their management should know why they are losing the edge. It’s due to bad management.

Poorly educated Senior Management. Did they just woke up from sleep? They should know their financial position months ago and caution their staff that probably no bonus and not make announcement a week before Eid. After all the MCO rush its demoralising!
Perhaps we shld dare their highly paid Directors, Chairman & Snr Management to deliver letters n parcels for 1mth, and getting similar salary like their employees.
