Facebook said it will take down videos of President Trump telling voters they should vote twice: once by mail, and once in the polling station.
The president was not clear he thought voters should ascertain whether their mail-in vote had been counted, and it is illegal to vote more than once in an election. In other words so long as users are posting the video to point out it's wrong it can remain on the site, but if it's shared in earnest Facebook will remove it.
It’s not a promising sign when two tech giants are in fear that their “civic and election integrity”/normal policies are at risk of misinformation spreading before the election... After last week’s big tech hearing, reading this makes more sense.
This is the fine people hoax all over again.
Isn’t that editorializing? Isn’t this the very same thing Robot boy was in pains explaining to Congress he won’t do?
