If TikTok will operate the platform in the US, how is Oracle going to stop TikTok admins from accessing US users data? If China can tell TikTok not to sell, why China can’t tell TikTok to handover users data or to put a few Chinese military people on the payroll as admins?
If, i do say if, Trump insists to demand a complete sale of TikTok, does that have any legal basis, or law doesn’t matter here?

Trump will cave to them just like he did on that bs “phase 1” trade deal with did absolutely nothing to protect intellectual property or give transparency. This has all been typical trumpian bluster to get his buddy (and massive donor) at Oracle a sweetheart deal.
Larry Ellison (Oracle) supports Trump. So TikTok deal should go through. What is scary is TikTok may become another Trump tool like Facebook. There is no counterweight to a future Facebook/TikTok combo in shaping 2024 elections.
