The following is a preview of the 2020 US Digital Trust Survey, which ranks nine platforms—Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, reddit, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube—according to how our respondents perceived them along five pillars of digital trust.
We found that Facebook was the least trusted social media platform regarding data privacy. Nearly one-third of US Facebook users at least somewhat disagreed that they had confidence in the platform to protect their data and privacy. Just 10% of LinkedIn's users said the same of the professional network.
"To Facebook's credit, it has made efforts to give users more control over their data through opt-in and opt-out features tied to what data is shared and what ads they're shown, as well as by increasing its own transparency into what data is collected," said Daniel Carnahan, research analyst at Insider Intelligence. "Nevertheless, it appears that these efforts are still having only minimal effects on US user sentiment.
to antitrust. I have not completed the 6 hours Congressional heading and you guys are being subpoenaed.
Why is he crying. You guys are doing a great thing setting up that task force. I mean the global reach although I have heard some countries por ejemplo Russia made their own similar platform. Can that be litigated. I mean, common now. It is a fight as democracy is. I am still on
Feeling sorry 💔
Benioff I find it ironic that I’m reading this on Twitter...
Benioff It's ironic that Zuckerberg operates a platform that is mostly endeared by anti-sematic conspiracy theorists! 🤨
I can't believe people are still using Facebook
JulieTweeters21 Facebook instagram ChanZuckerberg how does it feel to be the least trusted? Do you sleep well at night after trying to destroy and destabilize this Country. Have you considered a move to Russia?
I reported 2 little girls being sexually exploited and made to French kiss for pics shown on FB. The replies are how many many want to have sex with them. They are little TINY children for God's sake. FB refuses to remove the pics nor the NASTY comments. FB needs a BIG lawsuit.
Surfing anyone?😂
Guys, these platforms you have listed are hosted by companies for advertising revenues, and run by “we the people.” Moderating or policing an online platform is not happening, and never will happen. Once you are online, based on your market value your web virginity is secure.
Trust survey... Do one with people who are not SOLDOUTS.
Yet there’s still idiots out there using it, uploading all their personal data.
Stopped using facebook long ago, nowadays wouldn't even trust it my first name. Facebook is gone, for good. Not too long until the next Yahoo. Mark Zuckerberg is evil, plain evil.
So....do we therefore hate the things we trust everyday LinkedIn, and or do we on a daily basis, love the things we don't trust ...FB ?
