Meet the cofounders: Former financial consultant Tiana Tenet focuses on operations and strategy. Jill Donenfeld is a former chef and cookbook author in charge of all the culinary aspects of the startup.An at-home private chef may sound like an extravagance reserved only for the rich and famous, butis making the luxury service more accessible to a larger swath of homes in select cities across the country .

With Thanksgiving around the corner, they’ve cooked up special packages. One can opt for the Prep Service on Thanksgiving Eve, complete with reheat instructions , or a Day-of Dinner Service , both of which will result in six fresh dishes for your holiday spread. For an additional fee, the Postnatal Package offers inventive add-ons, including a “Sip & See Brunch service” , which includes catering for guests eager to visit and meet your new bundle of joy; “Date Night” , which provides an at-home dinner for two to help you reconnect with your partner; as well as a “Postnatal Product Concierge” which includes a private consultation to determine the best products for your kitchen and household as you transition to motherhood.

To date, 80% of The Culinistas business comes from the Hamptons. They also saw many West Coast customers flocking to Aspen, the chef agency’s fourth official destination.
