Lim Guan Eng is facing several corruption charges in connection with the Penang undersea tunnel project.
Witness K Geethanjali said her husband, G Gnanaraja, woke her at 2am, informing her that Lim and Consortium Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd senior director Zarul Ahmad Mohd Zulkifli had gone to their house at Seksyen 5, Petaling Jaya.“My husband introduced me to YB Lim and we had a small chat. After they had taken the pictures, she said, Gnanaraja told her that he, Lim and Zarul needed to discuss some “confidential matters” and asked her to return to her bedroom.
The former finance minister is also accused of seeking RM3.3 million in kickbacks to appoint Zarul’s company to undertake the project.
