The five-by-seven-metre ring was a fun feature, but it chewed up a significant portion of the 55,000 square feet the company owned between its two Ottawa offices. And space was becoming an issue for the quickly growing software-as-a-service startup, which collects, manages and reports supply-chain data for businesses. They had grown to nearly 700 employees since their beginning in 2010, and felt like they had no choice but to give up their two offices and seek out a new, bigger location.
