The tow-truck industry says the federal government will be met with resistance if it tries to use Emergencies Act powers to force operators to clear blockades and protest sites against their will.

This situation is so dangerous according to JustinTrudeau that he had to use the Emergencies Act, yet he expects tow truck drivers to go in and tow the trucks out? Tow truck drivers should not be asked to risk their lives if it is such a “dangerous” situation.
Just have all you gear 'broken' or 'malfunctioning' if you don't want to help fascist government and you're afraid of direct confrontation. Parts can't arrive because trucks are not transporting them.

Tow operators aren’t obligated by law to tow vehicles. Fair enough. Call scrappers, tell them to help themselves if the vehicle owner/driver refuses to move. It might be a motivating factor for both parties.

They need to get over it and do their job. The tractors there are brokers with little influence. They could lose their CVOR and then insurance, that happens then they have literally nothing. No one will hire them to even move garbage.

These are excuses because they support the convoys. It’s a national emergency and they’re being directed to provide services. There is no “pushback” possible here. Plus 99.99% of heavy truck operators are not in the convoy and don’t give a shit who you tow.
