Irish tech company CWSI raises €21m, buys Dutch security specialist Blaud via IrishTimesBiz

and further its ambition become a leading pan-European provider.security specialist Blaud for an undisclosed sum, its second deal in 12 months and its first acquisition in continental Europe.The growth capital funding round includes equity investment led by private equity fund Castlegate Investments, and debt finance from an Irish bank.

Founded in 2010, CWSI has its headquarters in Dublin, and provides mobility and security solutions to enterprise and government customers. Blaud has more than 100 direct clients and provides technical, consulting, support, and managed services to customers across a range of sectors. Among its clients are, Amsterdam UMC, the Dutch Department of Waterways and Public Works, and law enforcement organisations.
