Expressions of interest are being sought for an organisation to run both the market and the new Flexi hall being built in Bury town centre

Operators are being sought to run both Radcliffe market and the soon to be built flexi-hall in Bury town centre. Bury council has published a glossy ‘invitation to express interest’ brochure hailing an ‘outstanding opportunity’ to run the two venues with the authority ‘sharing the profitability of the sites’.

They added that they wished to continue running the market and had expressed their interest in doing so to the council. The expression of interest brochure states that the improved market would be ‘handed over’ in autumn 2025, with the flexi-hall following in spring 2026.READ MORE: Metrolink passengers 'evacuated onto tracks' as Manchester line damaged amid Storm Agnes
