Former PwC Australia CEO Luke Sayers says that the Australian firm created “values for the organisation” that were launched globally. Sayers: “If I remember correctly, the Australian firm were the creators of the values for the organisation that were then launched globally across some 154 countries. We had a very, very balanced approach to purpose and values.
” Greens senator Barbara Pocock responds: “ telling us really you had a great balanced scorecard and what’s more, you invented it and exported it. I’m just astonished.” Her Liberal colleague Senator Colbeck says that he fears for anyone working for PwC globally if the Australian firm’s values from the period that Sayers was in charge were really spread globally.
