SAN ANTONIO - Police are looking for a suspect who fired at a local meat market after refusing to take a counterfeit bill.According to the San Antonio Police Department, a suspect entered the store and attempted to use a counterfeit $50 bill. When employees refused to accept the fake bill, the suspect became angry and threatened one of the victims by gesturing with his fingers as if pointing a gun.

Police say the suspect then exited the store, returned to a vehicle, and fired two shots at the front of the building. Shrapnel from the gunfire struck both victims. SAPD is currently seeking information about the suspect and the incident. Anyone with relevant details is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP. Crime Stoppers may pay UP TO $5,000 for information which leads to felony arrests in this crime.
