International Relations and Cooperation Minister, Ronald Lamola hopes the African Peace and Security Dialogue conference in Magaliesburg, will help find lasting solutions toHe says the continent must be able to free itself from colonialism. Lamola says if one African country is not stable, all countries are affected.
“The continent must be able to extricate itself from the colonial vintage so that the natural resources of the African continent should be beneficial to the children to this continent and the future generations. South Africa will continue in harmony and engage with other regional bodies, particularly for regional economies which are the building blocks for Africa’s integration. The resurgence of violence in the Sahel region concerns us all.
