Bafana’s planned international friendly match away to Zambia in Lusaka was cancelled by the Football Association of Zambia citing the attacks on foreign nationals in SA as the main reason.
Speaking after a training match against Glad Africa Championships side Swallows FC on Wednesday, Ntseki says it shouldn’t be forgotten that countries on the continent played a leading role to help bring freedom in this country. Ntseki says the decision by FAZ to cancel the friendly match meant that Chipolopolo’s preparations for the AFCON 2021 qualifiers in November have also been affected.
The South African Football; Association has since confirmed that Madagascar will replace Zambia as their opponents this weekend in the friendly match but the game will be played at Orlando stadium kicking off at 19:00.
