Like most of Oliver’s topics, compounding pharmacies – bespoke pharmacies which make their drugs on site, often in small batches – are a common feature of American life whose obscurity and lack of government regulation allow corruption to fester.
John, cut it out. Pharmacies are more and more becoming operators for pill counting machines. It might as well be self service. Compounding pharmacies have extended the life of more than one of my pets and enhanced the ease of lower dosages for people.
