Stocks in Asia were set to open mixed on Thursday as fears over the coronavirus pandemic's economic impact continue to weigh on investor sentiment.

Shares in Australia jumped in early trade, with the S&P/ASX 200 up 2.64%. Australian jobs data for February is expected to be released around 8:30 a.m. HK/SIN on Thursday.
