Colleges around the country have closed their campuses because of the coronavirus. That's putting stress on low-income students and their families.

"When I go back home, the amount of food that my mom's going to have to buy is going to increase by 50%," Marks said. "I got a call at work, which is very rare for him to actually call me at work," Betty told Business Insider Weekly. "We've always had a rule.
