Some mothers of newborn babies in Limpopo say they are struggling to buy clothes for their babies because of the nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus. via SABCNewsOnline

Only shops that sell essential items, such as food and medicine, are allowed to open during this time.

The Tebeila Institute of Leadership, the African Institute for Human Rights and Constitutional Litigation filed an urgent application at the Constitutional Court on Monday. They are challenging the closure of shops that sell goods for babies.“The President must, during the lockdown, allow pregnant women who may deliver during the lockdown to go and buy baby clothes and also for those mothers, in particular newborns babies.

Baby shops should never have been closed in the first place! SAgovnews is pathetic

They should atleast allow it to b bought online

Did these women find out they were pregnant on the same day they gave birth? You have 9 full months to prepare for the birth of a new baby including shopping for baby clothes, baby products and nappies.

My sister is due this month bt we can't get the baby's clothes 🙆 can they pls open just Ackermans pretty pls.

Kids clothes is not found in some of the big supermarkets,? I think they can go check in there

All provinces not only Limpopo Domkop

Am in a same situation i deposit the clothes at Ackermans
