The UK is reportedly now building a second contact-tracing app to work with Apple and Google's framework

because the tech companies stipulate that all apps built using their framework must be "decentralized." This means all the data processing takes place on a user's handset, and can't be stored externally on a database.

Google and Apple say this is because decentralized apps are more private and a central database is more vulnerable to large-scale hacking. Cybersecurity experts also believe decentralized appsMany countries in Europe opted for Apple and Google's API, but Britain and France said they would build their own centralized apps because it would allow government to analyze the data more easily.

UK considers integrating controversial contact-tracing app with Apple and Google's API - Business InsiderThe UK previously said it would not use the specially-released Apple-Google API as it would mean promising to keep user data decentralized. I just want the government out of our lives! Because the United States of America is without any functioning government. Many people need to think about this carefully. At what price are many of these unnecessary tactics aimed to take away freedoms & people’s rights?

Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch 2020 preview: Magic Keyboard is huge upgrade - Business InsiderApple's 13-inch MacBook Pro isn't much different than the 2019 version except for its revamped Magic Keyboard. And that's a much-needed improvement. 'A much needed improvement' for an already overpriced device. I replaced my MBP with an HP Spectre 3 years ago and love it. Is not a 'NEW' keyboard, they went back to the reliable one they used to have. I don’t know why users complained heavily on it but I prefer butterfly keyboard. I buy cover for keyboard before unboxing my Mac so perhaps that’s why I never experienced dust-related problems. ILoveMac CustomerExperience
