Americans returned to work as Michigan, a Midwest industrial powerhouse, reopened its factories

) - said last week they planned to restart production at North American plants on May 18. The target date was set after tacit approval from the powerful United Auto Workers union, which previously opposed a May restart as “too soon and too risky.”

A small but high-profile sector of the U.S. auto industry became a flashpoint in California on Monday as Elon Musk, chief executive of electric carmaker Tesla Inc , defied local health officials and restarted his factory outside San Francisco. Ohio, another industrial state and key player in the U.S. auto industry, reopened its manufacturing last week and said most retail shops could welcome customers back on Tuesday.

Public health experts have warned that moving too quickly to reopen, without vastly expanded diagnostic testing and other precautions firmly in place, risks fueling a resurgence of the virus. Polling shows a majority of Americans also concerned.

What a joke. My spouse works in one and he is the ONLY person 'choosing to wear a mask' because they're making it OPTIONAL to all employees. It's God damn disgraceful. Let me know if you'd like to talk to my husband. He'd love to discuss this matter

“Skeleton crews” ? . I suppose if the numbers of virus deaths keep increasing, that might be the only workers available

that little strip of plastic ain’t gonna do jack

Oh, noes! Doesn't anyone try to stop the automakers from going back to work like Tesla? I mean it's good to keep reproducing toxic fumes spewing cars but not electric ones ...

They could have done this a month ago.

not great for the workers but at least the can work

Who's buying?

WE DON'T NEED CARS IF YOU DON'T OPEN THE ECONOMY!!!!!!

It's not going to end well

看起來比BYD高級不少
