There are many different ways that mental health difficulties can present themselves, including problems concentrating, avoiding social interaction, having low energy, and substance abuse.If you notice one or more signs in someone on your team, schedule time to chat with them. Just make sure you don't spring this meeting on them suddenly.
When you meet with your employee, make sure to focus only on specific things you've observed, such as, "I've noticed that you don't seem to be joining the team for lunch anymore," or "You've seemed a little down lately, and you've missed a few deadlines."
