MERSING: Johor is still able to attract the interest of foreign investors, and this will help the state's economy to recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said the state government had been receiving enquiries from well-known companies, expressing their intention to invest in Johor.

“This is a positive sign for us, and once the state government has prepared a standard operating procedure for foreign investors and also opened up our border with Singapore, Johor will be able to recover quickly from the economic slowdown due to Covid-19, ” he added.
