Germany is showing 'very concerning' signs of a second coronavirus wave, the country's doctors' union has warned

German Chancellor Angela Merkel addresses the media during a press conference in Berlin, Germany, Friday, June 19, 2020 after video meeting with the members of the European Council. Germany is starting to experience a second coronavirus wave, the head of its doctors' union warned.

Germany was praised for its early efforts in responding to the coronavirus pandemic. It had recorded over 9,200 deaths as of Wednesday morning, a far lower figure than other European countries including France, Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom. But she said that people should remain vigilant by practising good hygiene, wearing masks, and observing social distancing measures, amid warnings that the public was starting to lose interest in adhering to the measures.

Oh but Grmany was the model leader. They did everything perfect. Guess not.

Are they wearing masks?

This isn't surprising. The virus isn't going away until there is a vaccine. We need to learn to live with it until that point. Shutting down is the wrong approach.
