'I really don't care, do U?': How the act of refusing to wear a mask became the new symbol of American fear

how Americans were feeling about the coronavirus, it found that 53% of female respondents said masks should be worn out in public, compared with 42% of male respondents. And 63% of Hispanic respondents and 61% of Black respondents reported feeling the same way, versus 41% of white respondents.that only 34% of male respondents said they wore masks all of the time, and 54% of female respondents reported the same.

Gallup found that 61% of Democratic respondents said they wore a mask all the time when leaving their homes, compared with 24% of Republican respondents. Pew's findings were almost identical: 63% of Democratic respondents or Democratic-leaning independent respondents said masks should be worn at all times, while just 29% of Republican respondents said the same.

. Then perhaps the opposite is true — that not wearing a mask demonstrates you support Trump and everything he represents.

I wear a mask but I'm also glad there are nut jobs who refuse. I call them my useful idiots. These guys make sure that it isn't easy to take a right I actually care about later on. Also, I got a tailored tan suit AND wore it for an easter service. Some of us can pull it off.
