The approaching battle for control of the RNC mirrors other fights inside the GOP which could explode into public view if Trump loses. , told Insider this week. Veteran conservative activists and establishment Republicans who've maintained a tenuous relationship with Trump and his team over the last four years are eyeing a return to power.
